Tabber α – App Tab Utility
A few days ago Facebook announced that it will no more create Profile Pages for new Apps automatically, which I find is a nice move by Facebook. But as Facebook Developers used the these Profile Pages to add their App’s Tab to a Fan Page the workflow got more complicated for them. This is the point were my little new Utility “Tabber α” steps in.

Tabber works pretty simple: Visit http://fb.codegefluester.de/tabber/, it will automatically redirect you to Facebook and requests the permission to manage your pages. This is required, otherwise it won’t work.
After you’ve granted Tabber all permissions needed you will be redirected back to the website where you’ll now see all the Facebook Fan Pages you’re Admin of and all the Apps you’re Admin of. For both you have a little search field above the list where you can type in a search term, makes it easy to find the right page/app if you have many of them under your account like me. Then you simply can drag the App from the right onto the Page on the left and drop it there. Et voila, the Tab has been added to your Page.
